Over the hump when it comes to these exams with three down and two to go. They've been pretty testing thus far and, God, the nights before have been torturous enough. Sleepy, dumb-looking eyes and a day-to-day being that has descended to the lowly depths of a drunken stuppor certainly won't be missed. Fingers crossed it won't have been for nought. Thankfully, the end is in sight and I'm reaching out almost able to grasp the Summer, the thought of which helps in diffusing pangs of exam angst. Bring it.

Here's one of my favourite images of Diego from the shoot I styled for Coitus a few weeks ago that just went live last night. Conor was behind the lens, Sarah was on beauty and Matthew groomed; this isn't the first time I've worked with all of the above, and it's really awesome how smoothly everything runs and how enjoyable it is to work as part of a team who are all on the same page and just get it. Because the clothes were - admittedly - basic enough in keeping with the rough idea of Diego rolling out of bed and into whatever is close to hand, we thought getting Fatti Burke on board to add some illustrations would really lift the end product. Really loving the high-school-heart-throb-who-couldn't-give-a-f... vibe throughout.

See the full set in-situ on Coitus.

I think its time to begin upping my jewellery game, starting with that little knuckle accoutrement that I've snapped up there; acquired from my friend James who hopefully won't come looking for it after he reads this. I've occasionally attempted some effort at outfit embellishment, but a generally pared-back approach to dressing myself doesn't entirely facilitate it, so real commitment has been lacking overall. The hunt is now on for bits'n'pieces that can lift a look whilst remaining committed to if not minimal, then clean dressing. Below are some pieces that fit the bill by way of Margiela, Cheap Monday and Cos.

P.S. I discovered how important it is to wear rings that actually fit you on Sunday night when out for a pretty boozy dinner with my family. During a trip to the bathroom, one that I had grown quite keen on decided to make a break for it by leaping pretty dramatically into the toilet. It would be an utter lie to say I didn't hunch down for a moment and closely examine the situation to see if there was somehow a way I could perform an extraction without getting wet. Alas, I left without being re-united whilst maintaining a shred of self-respect.
